The crankshaft is the main rotating part of the engine.

After the connecting rod is installed, the up and down (reciprocating) motion of the connecting rod can be changed into cyclic (rotating) motion.

Is an important part of the engine, made of carbon structural steel or ductile iron, has two important parts: spindle neck, connecting rod neck, and others.
What is a CrankShaft?
The spindle neck is mounted on the cylinder block, the connecting rod neck is connected to the big hole of the connecting rod, and the small hole of the connecting rod head is connected to the cylinder piston, which is a typical crank slider mechanism.

The lubrication of the crankshaft mainly refers to the lubrication of the end bearing bush and crankshaft connecting rod journal and the lubrication of the two ends of the connecting rod.

The rotation of the crankshaft is the power source of the engine. It is also the source power of the whole mechanical system.
